You can either take a photo with a digital camera or scan a photo. Make sure that the digital photo is at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). Most digital cameras will produce a 300 dpi quality photo. Make sure you set your scanner to 300 dpi if you choose to scan a photo.
Make sure you are using a good quality photo. Your picture plate will only be as good as the photo that you select. Try to keep shadows to a minimum, for example a child wearing a ball cap may cast a shadow on his face.
When you place your order, you will be able to select the area of your photo that you want to print on the plate. We will crop and prepare the photo for processing.
